take you On a cruise.

Whenever I take a train to Leiden, which is quite often lately, I always pass station Schiphol, Holland's major airport. The particular station is quite busy, but also has a very long platform on which the travelers are definitely not equally devided. When people are unloaded and loaded at Schiphol station, the train slowly picks up pace to continue to drive to Leiden. When that happens, you pass the ends of the platforms, which are empty and lonesome.
Ever since the summer, this struck me and I have wanted to make a series of photographs of it, but never had the time to get out of the train to do it.

However, some days ago I picked up my childhood buddy Maarten from the airport (he went to Uganda for 10 weeks) and I had plenty of time to spare, so I walked to the end of the platform and finally took some pictures of the deserted platforms. &Here are the results for you!

Awesome, right?

like a Record baby.

Need to post more often, so here are pictures from my trip to the Gemeentemuseum in The Hague, some weeks ago with Sophie. Pictures are made with my old phone, as usual.

1. Sculpture from the 'Paris' exhibition.
2. Detail from a Rodin sculpture.
3. Duchamp's Bicycle Wheel and Stool.
4. Item from the Fashion loves Art exhibition.
5. Chandelier by Hans van Bentum. More of his chandeliers visible in the Eschermuseum, also in The Hague.

We went there because of our monthly issue in the university's newspaper: Sophie and BĂ©nine's Museum Verdict. If you like to check it out, click here.

Now there is weekend!

you didn't Have the decency to change the sheets.

Kind of had Loiter Squad last Tuesday night. We stayed inside, because of the rain, and people let me fuck up their properties. Good times.

1. Riley wanted the reversed cross on his denim jacket.
2. I did the stencil, he added his signature. Nobody will trace it back to me now.
3. R.T.F.M., I learned that from my dad. It's a thing. If you don't get it, fuck off.
4. My first stencil that is a little more tricky to design. I sprayed this on Henk's fridge and he liked it so much that he gave me permission to do his whole fridge. It's gonna be cool.

I also fucked over a lame peace sign H&M shirt on Friday. Made a statement against commodification of the sign by putting a reversed cross over it.

My collegue and friend Daria liked it, so I made her one, too. Now it looks like we're in a gang.

I am working on more stencil designs, kind of want it to become a fun thing: stencilling people's t-shirts and anything they want to have painted.

That's all I got right now. Although things are busy, I had a weekend of fun: festival + concert + International Documentary Festival Amsterdam. I'll upload the pictures later.
