I'm a Liar. Sorry!

[Click on the header for more Liars.]

So I didn't wear the shoes Monday.

But I did wear them today!
Check out my outfit:

Oh no! First: this is what I wore yesterday [pictures are much crappier and I need to have a strong end. Ghehe]:

T-shirt - ZARA.
Blazer - H&M.
Tights - Pieces.
Boots - Tommy Hilfiger [they were a gift].
Scarf - mums.
Buttons - private collection.

And this is what I wore today. Don't you like the flowers in the front??

Dress - H&M.
Cardigan - America Today.
Tights - H&M.
Scarf - Invito.
Shoes - Schoenenreus. =P

And damn, I'm so busy right now. Not funny..
I have been revising my two Written Tasks for IB. They are perfectemundo now.
I also have completed my poem. I actually like it...
We had an assignment for IB to pick out a picture you liked and write a poem with it.
I picked out a picture I made some time ago of my father, while he was thinking.
This one:

And I wrote this poem with it:

The Philosopher

So motionless, so fragile
In his chair.
Plucking his beard
Not knowing you're there.

Once wrapped up in books
So talkative!
Now, wrapped up in thoughts
So ignorant.

Would he think about you?
Hell yes, a lot!
Stop judging! You're wrong!
What you get, you sometimes see not.

So... What do you think?
I hope you enjoyed it..

Got to get busy again.. =(

It makes me do stupid, useless things. Like this:

Long Tee - ZARA.
Jeans - All Saints
Shoes - Schoenenreus. XD
Scarf - H&M.

It's what I am about to wear today. I'm not sure yet...

Who you think I'm talking To?

[Click on header to watch/listen to Five O'Clock Heroes.]

Five O'Clock Heroes were amazing!! I really had the time of my life.
Haha! I somehow realize that in this way it looks like I'm franctic about every performance I go to, but that's not the case. I accidentally happen to go to two great concerts in one week.

Thursday I went to Jessica. We changed clothes and did our make up. I had to wait for Jess, so I made pictures of me and *dumdumdum* the tickets. [I hadn't seen the tickets before, 'cuz Jess had ordered them, since Five O'Clock Heroes [FOCH] was her b-day present for me. How sweet.]

Dress - H&M.
Tights - H&M.
Cardigan - America Today.
Yeah, it is my new dress, indeed. Ghehe.

We took Astrid-Elisabeth [As] with us, 'cuz we thought that might be fun.
Turned out it was really fun, indeed.
Before the concert we ate out at a Greek restaurant. Gooood food. Great fun [thanks to the Ouzo, too].

Then we headed for Tivoli de Helling [Utrecht] where the Heroes played. We arrived in time and waited and waited. Waiting is not boring. Definately not. It's a great time to make useless, but funny pictures. Alright, some of them are hideous, but CARE!

Who on earth doesn't want to have 3 beers??

Yeah, I had to laugh. As is too funny with such a face.

Then the support act began. Sometimes support acts really suck or do not correspond to the main act at all. Thursday, the support act was like.., wow! great! The band is called Moss and they're Dutch. They are signed at Exelcior Recordings [I regard Exelcior as one of the best Dutch recording company. They are pretty alternative and have artists signed like Alamo Race Track, Spinvis, zZz, Do-The-Undo and The Madd].
I really liked Moss' sound &I'll just post a video of them:

Moss - Lemon [Live].

To see more Moss, you should check out their MySpace:
Oh, and this is their bass player:

Their singer was looking really cool, but this picture is the only picture I made of Moss that was OK. Crappycam, jeweetzelluf.
Even though Moss was great. Jess, As & I couldn't help continueing making stupid pictures.
Here's more. ^^

At 9.30 the GREAT moment was about to begin: Five O'Clock Heroes came on stage.
Singer & guitar player Anthony Ellis was standing right in front of us, so I took some marvelous pictures of him. Pictures from the other band members aren't very good, but care. We had fun.
The Heroes played a lot of songs from their first album: Bend to the Brakes [which is a great album] and we danced until we could not feel our feet anymore. (=
It was so much fun and I felt so good. I never really care what other people think of me when I'm at a concert. As long as I'm not troubling anyone I'm alright. So we made the performance one big party and danced and jumped and had fun with the three of us.
Lovely, lovely, lovely.
After the show we just chilled with some drinks. Astrid & I bought an album [As bought Bend to the Brakes & I bought Speak Your Language. And, whohoo, I received a free vynil single of 'White Girls'] and we took pictures with the band members.
Then it was time to go home, 'cuz I had to get up early the next day.
Here's pictures from & after the performance:

Bass player Adam Morse.

Lead guitarist Teddy Griffith.

Lead singer & 2nd guitarist Anthony Ellis.

Lalalalalalala. [no inspiration...] Lalalalala.

White light, tududududu, white light, tududududu.
[If you don't understand it: it's from a song. Gorillaz - White Light.]

Toilet art. It's so cute!

The original & supercool Le Coq Sportif Sneakers are Jessica's.

Concert girls. (=

Jess & As with guitarist Mike Hazard.

Anthony, me, peace, Astrid, Jess.

Jessica also made a great picture with her phone. I do have it, but it's on my mobile and I'm too lazy to get it off. Ghehe.
I'll just surprise you, one day. ^^

By the way, you might have heard it already, but I've got new songs in my player:
Justice vs. Simian - We Are Your Friends
Bayside - Duality [Project Alice Strings Remix].
Five O'Clock Heroes - Head Games.
Last Shadow Puppets - Meeting Place. <3
RJd2 - Ghostwriter.

Holy Mary mother Jesus!

Arg. I'm so bad at keeping promises.
I did not post anything this weekend and I'm terribly sorry.
I had a great weekend and a good start of my holiday, though. Perhaps that's why I didn't post anything. Reality was so good, I didn't need to escape it by means of blogging. Ghehe.
So what did I do?

Saturday was my dad's birthday. My mum and I made an exclusive breakfast and performed a little play in which we took proverbs very literally. We had a lot of fun!
In the evening I went over to my boyfriend. It was very relaxed and lovely. We fooled around, cooked dinner, went to the bar [Peter works there and I had to sit down an look very much in love at him] and we talked a lot since it was not very busy, then we went to bed and slept until 11 AM. We had a nice breakfast: Peter baked us croissants. How sweet. (=
Although it was raining, we decided to go out for a walk, which was pretty fun. We went into a bunker near fort Rhijnauwen and made some nice pictures.

Then I had to head for home, 'cuz my dad was celebrating his b-day for friends and family.
It was nice. Matta and his family were there as well. =)

Monday was Kaiser Chiefs time. I had been longing for the concert for ages and the Kaisers didn't disappoint me at all. It was so freaking awesome!! I went with my dad and Astrid-Elisabeth & I took the crappy cam. It really proved its name true: the pictures suck. -_-
Kaisers had two support acts: Rigby [NL] & Dananananakroyd [GB].
One may know Rigby from the Dutch radio channel 3FM. They're quite alright. Check it out:

Rigby - Parade

Dananananakroyd followed. 5 guys and a girl from Glasgow [a city I adore] making freaking cool music. They are working two drum kits on stage. At some time in their performance, one of the singers asked the greatest thing I ever heard a performer ask [imagine this in a Scottish accent]: "Hey everyone. Are you chemically balanced?"
Btw, both their drummers/singers look like Jack from 'Will & Grace'. Check one of them:

Near the end of their performance they created a "wall of hugs" [instead of a wall of death] in the audience. Brilliant motherfuckers! An impression of their performance [but in real life even better]:

Dananananakroyd - [Song] One Puzzle

[Crappy quality, indeed.]

Then the time came that Kaiser Chiefs were about to perform.
I have to say: there are no words to describe their performance. It was like.., superfuckingwickedawesome!
Great quality of sound, great performance, great energy from both the band and the crowd, just.., everything!
Oh, &I almost fell down. That was pretty scary, but it sound cool, though. xD
Some pictures [as I already said, they're not very good..]:

Today I went to Amsterdam. I would go with Nadine & Renate, but we had some sort of miscomunication, so I ended up going alone and Nadine & Renate not going at all. Pitty, but I'm pretty good in entertaining myself in a city. (=
I bought some looooooooovely stuff:
  • LBD by H&M. Layered & with a polka dot on the lace. It's pretty well-known I think and it doesn't seem to sell very well in the Netherlands, since it is in stores for ages now...
  • Verrrrrry pink dress from ZARA. Pretty simple and pretty [very] striking, but so adorable.
  • Loooooooong, black tee from ZARA. Can easily pass for some sort of dress.
  • Looooooooong, long-sleeved & striped tee from ZARA. Searching for such a shirt [and the previous] for ages, and my hard work finally payed off. Whohoo.
  • Shiny, black leggings. I have been planning to buy them for ages, but some way I never did. Looks great underneath the previous two items.
I only want a pair of [fake] Doc Martens, now. They would look so great with the striped shirt and the leggings...
Yeah, I keep setting goals. Ghehe.

And yeah, I promised fisheye pictures. I know. But I'm not gonna do them now; I'm so tired.
I'm not even going to promise anything about them anymore, ever!
I'll might just surprise you one day. ^^

Tomorrow I'm seeing Five O'Clock Heroes live @ Tivoli de Helling. Jessica & Astrid-Elisabeth are coming along. I'm exited!! Taking my fisheye and crappy cam with me.

That's enough for now, isn't it?
Enjoy your holiday. (=

Good times: coming back my Way! (=

Aye!! Today was my last day at my heavy therapy. Whohoooooo!!
From next week on, I will be following therapy one morning a week, instead of two days a week. I'm so happy!
What's more important: I'm confident!
Let the good times come back my way!
The girls at therapy gave me great -imaginable & real - presents. I really, really, really appreciated it. =)

Gosh, I need an LBD!!
Does anybody now a brand which has a cool one in the collection?
Just some random thought, sorry.

Another random thing: new fisheye photo's are in my possesion. ^^
They're really cool. I made them at Jaya (of which I have to post pictures, anyway. Shame, shame), at Paris. There's a great one of my dad and me. Hilarious.
Yeah, I know I'm making you curious. Just keep reading my blogs. Ghehe.

Current addiction: Fruit Bats - When U Love somebody.

And that's all.
Holidays are coming up.
&I think I'll do a post this weekend..

40 licks for my Love.

Today Marloes brought ski glasses to school to give to Nienke. Nicole & I undermined them, 'cuz we thought they were god damn stylish.

Pretty sexy, huh? ^^
What's more: they're pretty emo, too!
Or perhaps it's scene..

I tried to do something with my eyes, but you don't see it, 'cuz my fringe is too long.

Then Nicole stole my bow tie and put it on. I made a bow tie of my arafat scarf and we made a picture.
It wasn't our best photo day. Haha.

What's more....?
I brought my second role of fisheye photos to the HEMA to be developed.
Shame on me, I didn't even show you the pics of my first role, yet.
Anytime soon, now. I promise!!

This is what I wore.

I am wearing:
40 licks t-shirt - ONLY.
Cardigan - America Today.
Pants - Episode.
Scarf - Stand along canal in Utrecht.
Bow tie [in hair] - Episode.
Killer heels - H&M.

And this picture is too dark, but I like it, anyway. Hihi.

That's it. I have to somehow create a speech about a scientist for my German class tomorrow.

Oh, my father wanted me to post this on my blog:

It's a fragment from a painting in the Louvre and my dad was kind of franctic about it..
It's rather cute, I must admit.
Besides, it's on my side since a week. =)
That's right. I'm in love. ^^
